Introduction to our school | Print |

Welcome to St James' CEC School in Emsworth, where we are proud and privileged to work, as a community of learners, at the vital task of providing a Christian-based education of the highest quality, to the children entrusted to us.

Our mission statement sums it all up.

By working together, we enable our children to flourish as enthusiastic and successful learners, prepared to make a positive difference on God's world.

Our excellent staff team work together to create a secure, purposeful yet happy environment, in which children are challenged to discover and fulfil their talents by always giving of their best.

We provide a stimulating, exciting, varied curriculum, which allows children to become successful independent learners. The success of this is borne out by our consistently high end of Key Stage assessment results. We are also delighted with the people that our children have become by the time they leave us - confident, self-motivated, and compassionate with high standards of personal integrity.

Parents and carers, have by far the greatest influence in your children's lives and so we recognise the importance of an active partnership with parents. When this is strong, children will succeed and thrive. We also value our partnership with St James' Church and the local community and are keen to embrace and promote these for the good of the children.

We hope you enjoy finding out about our school. We look forward to you joining with us in making your child's time here a tremendously happy and rewarding one.
